During my senior year one of the projects I had to do was poetry. There had to be at least ten poems and a theme. I chose to do the seven deadly sins and theological virtues. Some of these were not the easiest to write, but it gives the reader an idea of how I see things. If you would like to look at my poetry project, click here.
This year has been a whirlwind when it came to picking a college. One of those factors being scholarships. In the fall of 2015 I competed in the Centralis competition at Central Michigan University. This included submitting an essay and creative piece to get a chance at a full ride. I did end up receiving full tuition, however, my final decision led me to commit to Michigan State University. |
As a senior one of the dual enrollment classes I decided to take was English 111. The writing format for the class was synthesis, which was completely new to me. This course was more difficult in comparison to others I have taken, but it exposed to me to new formats and pushed me to be a better writer. Below you can view my final synthesis paper and portfolio. |

One of the projects Interact decided to take on was reading to classes in Shepherd and Winn Elementary. In pairs we would go to different classrooms for 30 minutes to an hour. For me, it was important to interact with the kids instead of just reading the book. Pictured to the right is a third grade class Bailey Brown and I read to. |
